As of January 2006, this is the updated version of Lightbox (the original being released in September 2004) and has many upgraded features, including small caps for all font styles and an extended character set that encompases the eastern European and Baltic languages (Note: Extended character set only available in OpenType format).
Lightbox itself is a geometric sansserif, based on the proportions of the golden section, a ratio that is found throughout nature, art and architecture. The ratio has been used in works such as the Egyptian Pyramids and the Acropolis in Athens, by artists including Da Vinci and Raphael and can be seen in the variation of animal populations and plant growth... and I think I'll leave it at that.
